Teriyaki Chicken (Easy 15 Minute Recipe)

This is one of the easiest stir-fries ever, and it's all about the sauce doing its thing! 👌

Ingredients

Cut 2 chicken breasts into small pieces (about 200-250g). Chop 2 garlic cloves and a little piece of ginger finely. Mix 3 tbsp light soy sauce, 3 tbsp mirin, 3 tbsp shaoxing cooking wine (or use white rice vinegar), and 2 tbsp honey in a bowl.

Heat a wok with 1 tbsp oil and over medium high heat add the chicken. Leave it to sear on one side for 1-2 minutes, flip and repeat until it’s golden.

Step 1

Add the sauce the garlic and ginger and bring everything to a simmer for 4-5 minutes stirring frequently. Be patient the sauce will reduce and thicken! Serve over rice and enjoy
