- 2 medium-sized English sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted - 3/4 cup granulated sugar - 1/2 cup milk - 2 large eggs - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon salt - 1 unbaked pie crust


Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Place the sweet potato cubes in a pot of water and boil until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and mash until smooth. Let it cool slightly
