Multigrain Roti Recipe | How to make soft multigrain roti

Multigrain Roti is a healthy and delicious Indian-style chapati that is rich in dietary fiber and protein and prepared using a mixture of flours.
If you are seriously trying to lose weight, substitute your regular chapatis and roti’s with this multigrain roti.

Multigrain roti ingredients

1/4 cup Wheat Flour
1/4 cup White Millet Flour
1/4 cup Black Millet Flour
1/4 cup Red Millet Flour (Ragi)
2 tbsp Bengal Gram Flour
1/4 cup finely chopped tomato
1/4 cup finely chopped Onion
1 tbsp finely chopped green chilies
2 tbsp finely chopped Coriander
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
Salt to Taste
1 tsp Oil for Greasing
4 tsp Oil for Cooking
Serving with Curd

Multigrain Roti Recipe (Step by Step) Instruction

In a deep bowl, combine all the ingredients for the multigrain roti and knead them into a soft dough, adding water as needed.

The dough should be divided into equal and set aside.

Grease one plastic sheet with a small amount of oil.

Spread out one piece of dough and place another plastic sheet on top.

Create a circular with a diameter of 100 mm (4″) by lightly pressing evenly on the plastic sheet.

Using the plastic sheets, lift the roti, take off the top sheet, and flip it into the heated tava. Peel the second plastic sheet off finely as well.

Use a little oil and cook until both sides are golden brown.

Make more multigrain roti’s by repeating the process with the leftover parts.
