Ingredients:

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup whole milk

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/2 cup fresh mint leaves

Instructions:

In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, milk, and sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar has dissolved.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and mint leaves.

Cover the saucepan and let the mixture steep for 1 hour.

Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the mint leaves.

Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze until firm, at least 4 hours.

Serve the mint ice cream in bowls or cones and enjoy!
