Easy Sweet Potato Pie | Sweet Potato Pie Recipe | Sweet Potato shepherd’s Pie

Sweet potato pie is a delectable dessert that captures the comforting essence of autumn. Made from rich, creamy sweet potato puree, this pie boasts a velvety texture and a harmonious balance of flavors.

Ingredients:

2 medium-sized English sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 unbaked pie crust

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Place the sweet potato cubes in a pot of water and boil until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and mash until smooth. Let it cool slightly.

3. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, melted butter, sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until well combined and smooth.

4. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
