Classic Homemade Meatloaf

Meatloaf is a baked or smoked meal made with ground beef mixed with other ingredients and shaped into a loaf shape.

Meat Ingredients:

Italian sausage (1 lb)
Ground beef (1 lb)
Onion (1/2 diced)
Ritz (1 sleeve crushed)
Bell pepper (1 diced)
Green onion (1/4 cup )
Parsley (1-2 tbs chopped)
Garlic (2-3 minced)
Egg (2 eggs)

Easy Meatloaf Recipe

Sauce Ingredients:

Ketchup (3/4 cup)
Brown Sugar (3 tbs)
Black Pepper (1/4 tsp)
Salt (1/4 tsp)
Garlic Powder (½ tsp)
Onion Powder (½ tsp)
White Vinegar (1 1/2 tsp)

Directions:

Combine all meat ingredients and shape them into a loaf in an oven-safe dish.

Cook at 375°F for 30 minutes.

Combine all sauce ingredients and pour them over the loaf.

Bake for an additional 20-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Tips:

– Make indentation in middle of love to avoid shrinking while cooking
– Avoid over mixing meat, fold ingredients together
– Purchase meatloaf sauce, if you do not want to make your own
